Privacy policy

This policy explains what data LICITOF collects through www.licitof.com, what it uses the data for and what rights you have over it. It is governed by Chilean personal data protection law, in particular Law No. 19,628 on the protection of private life and its amendments, including Law No. 21,719 once it enters into force.

1. Data controller

The data controller is LICITOF. For any questions about your data, you can write to contacto@licitof.com.

2. What data we collect

• The data you enter in the form: name, company, email, phone, website, company RUT, industry, products or services, your status on Mercado Público, what you need and your message.
• Minimal technical data needed to operate and protect the site, such as the country the request comes from. We do not store your IP address with your request: to prevent abuse, we use only an encrypted hash that is deleted after 10 minutes.

The site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools. It only stores in your browser, for the duration of the session, whether you have already seen the intro animation.

3. What we use it for

• To respond to your request and schedule an initial conversation.
• To prepare a service proposal and, if you accept it, begin the assessment of your company.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you give by checking the box on the form, and the steps prior to a potential contract. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Client information

Each client company's information (products, costs, margins, documents, pricing strategies and bids) is confidential. It is used only to provide the contracted service, kept separate from other clients' information and never published.

5. Providers that help us operate

We use infrastructure providers to host the site and store requests and, where applicable, an email service to receive notifications. They process the data on LICITOF's behalf and solely for those purposes.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact data for as long as necessary to respond to your request and for the duration of the business relationship. If no relationship is established, you can request its deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, cancellation or erasure, and objection to the processing of your data, as well as any other rights granted to you by law, by writing to contacto@licitof.com. We will respond within the legal time limits.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information: encrypted connections, restricted access and change logs. No system is infallible, but we work to reduce the risks.

9. Changes

If we modify this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
